Visit the forest

Here’s a Spring Break rainy-day activity to do with the kids…In just one location you can “see” a movie, hang out in the forest, go to the beach, learn some First Nations languages at the Our Living Languages exhibit and see the most incredible peeks at wildlife with the Wildlife Photographer of the Year display..all while staying dry.

So easy right? The Royal BC Museum!…That last one with the 8-tracks was a dead giveaway!

Love the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit, such a great way to travel the world and see creatures through the photographers lens that you might never get to see — while inspiring you to grab your camera and get outside. Old Towne is also a blast where you can sit in the “theatre” and watch some Charlie Chaplin, wait for the train to come, go to Chinatown, walk through the cobbled streets and imagine you’re somewhere, uh some “time” different. — The Royal BC Museum is a great way to make it all that rain tolerable…Until you blink and the sun is back!
