One of things that makes me thankful for the internet is the rapid channels we can share information. There’s been a movement lately bringing attention to the culture of “catcalling”. It’s clearly not as common here in Victoria as it is in some larger cities where anonymity is likely a big factor. They’ve even erected No Catcalling signs in New York City. Even though most of us recognize it’s not respectful to yell at people on the street — whether you think it’s a compliment you’re handing them or not, some clearly haven’t heard the news.

 

 

So, really hoping that after this conversation, this “catcaller” had some thoughts about the fact that most women don’t care what he thinks of the way they look or if he’s attracted to them. Their dogs might like him, but that’s not going to help his case, haha.
