29 Reasons to Visit Victoria (or so)

Went for a little hike up to one of my Happy Places last night. Such a beautiful evening for Christmas Hill! As we reached the summit, the view that overlooks the Olympic Mountains always takes my breath away.

Meanwhile a couple of young boys appeared to survey this incredible view. — One says…Look! There’s a big cruise ship! The other says, nah that’s a ferry. Who would want to go on a cruise HERE?!!!!!!

Bahahah, I can think of at least 29 reasons to visit Victoria….and ironically, we were looking at — at least 10 of them at the moment.

• This amazing VIEW
• The Olympic Mountains as our backdrop
• The green green green trees and grass
• Flowers, flowers, flowers
• Westcoast Cuisine
• The Inner Harbour
• The Ogden Point Breakwater
• You’re always 20 Minutes from Somewhere
• You’re always 20 Minutes from Nowhere

Shall I go on?…Hey — It’s your turn! What things make Victoria such a great place to visit?…and an even better place to live?

Welcome to Victoria! Maybe this young man hasn’t traveled?…I didn’t have the heart to break it to him that we have around 10,000 cruise ship passengers visiting HERE over the next week!
