Corn Maze for Daze -- A Tour of Vancouver Island Corn Maze

Managed to corral the family to hit the Vancouver Island Corn Maze this weekend to get into the Halloween mode. If you ask me, this massive corn maze was a perfect addition to our bustling agri-tourism offerings on Vancouver Island. If you’ve got the corn, you might as well play in it, right?

Grab your boots (and flashlights if you go after dark) and come for a wander through the corn….

Umm…Yep, it’s mud. Actual mud.

Mud. Yes, that is mud. We don’t have much of this in Victoria. Perfect occasion for the boots. Bring your fancy — or not so fancy rubber boots.

Made it out of the maze…Phew. Almost out of Halloween Candy…don’t laugh — bring some in case of emergency! Truly, we spent about an hour wandering around and could have used another couple hours…there’s just something therapeutic of wandering through the corn.

The Vancouver Island Corn Maze is at Pendray Farms — 9537 West Saanich Road, open Wednesday – Sunday 11am – 9pm.
