Lorde's Brit Awards Bowie Tribute

Can you imagine how nerve-wracking it would be to do a Bowie tribute at the Brit Awards?

It was tough for Lady Gaga in LA at the Grammy’s and she was met with some dissension afterwards…but imagine the task of performing the ultimate tribute in the legendary influential musician’s homeland?

Thumbs up for Annie Lennox’s intro..and Lorde’s performance.

Lennox began by acknowledging Bowie’s rippling impact from Britain to people around the world…“David Bowie is deeply embedded in the heart of British culture,” she said. “Influencing every decade. Like the miraculous moon landing that inspired the song, he drew us away from out suburban lives. He was truly unique.”

She told her nerves before the show…just to sing it to Bowie 🙂
