I LOVE roasted nuts, but I always thought raw ones were better….TILL NOW!!

 

Turns out that you can go ahead and eat those roasted nuts-they’re great for you!!!
It turns out that roasted nuts are nutritionally similar to raw nuts!!!  You might even absorb MORE nutrients, because they’re easier to digest.
You can make your own healthy roasted nuts by placing raw nuts or seeds! It’s pretty simple too, just mix the nuts and seeds in a bowl and lightly coat them with honey or grape seed oil.
Then toss them with cinnamon, and brown sugar if you want them sweet or ginger, curry powder, rosemary and cayenne pepper with some salt if you want them savory. (Salt and pepper on their own work great too!)
Spread the nuts flat on a baking sheet and bake them for 15 minutes at 250 degrees. Then enjoy!!! 🙂
