You're A Pup Star, Aren't You? Yes, You Are

It was just over a year ago they filmed a movie called Pup Star at the Royal Theatre. Now they’re casting dogs again for a sequel. If you’ve got a life of leisure in mind for your dog, oh wait, haha, I guess your dog already has that. Well, then if you’d like to see your dog on the big screen or Netflix, check out this local casting call.

This afternoon, casting is happening between 2:30 – 4:30pm at 836 Viewfield Road in Esquimalt — for dogs. The movie’s background casting director said a core group of “well-behaved, awesome, adorable dogs” and humans are required for Air Bud Entertainment’s Pup Star 2, which starts filming mid-November in Victoria.

Then please come to our casting call with your dog in tow and show us what you’ve got. We are looking for a solid group of people and their loyal pups to be in the movie Pup Star, Season 2. We start shooting mid-November thru to some time in December so please make sure you will be available for those dates.

Hey everybody! We had a great turnout at our first casting call but if you missed it, here is your chance to come by! We are having one more casting call for dogs in the area. Let’s put your pup in Pup Star: Season 2!

Some specifics we will be looking for:
-Medium to Large dogs (not under 20lbs)
-Young adults approx. ages 15-25
-One black Puli (mop dog)
-One brown yorkie puppy at least 16wks old

Call will be on Tuesday from 2:30-4:30pm at our production office. Feel free to bring treats or other comfort items for your dog while they wait for their call 🙂
