The BBC has released the official trailer for its new documentary series Planet Earth II, which took ten years to film.

Most of us have seen the Snakes vs. Baby Iguana part, which is insane and some of the most adrenaline filled footage I’ve ever seen.

But there’s way more to it than that. Planet Earth II is a 6-part series which you’ll get some of the most amazing wildlife footage you’ll see from the comfort of your couch. Of course, Sir David Attenborough who celebrated his 90th birthday earlier this year is at the helm of this project.

Amazing details about Planet Earth II:

  • Shot in 40 different countries
  • Crews making 117 filming trips
  • Shooting days 2,089
  • Just over 5.7 years filming non-stop
