Marianas Trench arrived in Victoria Sunday night after braving those treacherous snowy BC Highways in their tour buses — and brought a whole lot of rock star with them.

The Vancouver band ramped the audience up with performances by three opening bands — Jupiter Winter, Virgina to Vegas and Shawn Hook.

After an interlude of music that brought the audience straight to the 80’s, Marianas Trench appeared after the fog machine cleared, with lead singer Josh Ramsay cloaked in a hoody.

The band wrapped up the Last Crusade Tour in Abbotsford on Monday after having to postpone a Friday night show there because they were stuck in that mess of the Coquihalla highway closure last week. Bet they’re happy to be back on the coast!
