Every Friday, I partner up with a different local rescue group to help adopt out their animals and find them their fur-ever homes!

This week we’re partnering up with the RainCoast Dog Rescue Society to help find a home for adoptable “Zues and Zoe!”

Talk about model dogs! Introducing adoptable Zeus & Zoe the dynamic duo! Zues and Zoe are two beautiful purebred German Rottweilers. Zues is 6 years old and is the bigger of the two and weighs in around 100lbs+. Zoe is 4 years old and weighs in around 85lbs+. Both are fixed and fully vaccinated. We are in love! Both of these beauties are very bonded and come to us from Vancouver Island. Here are some words from their previous owner.

Zeus is a 6 year old male.
Zeus good points he’s very gentle, affectionate, loves kids, loves water, great swimmer. Very well mannered. Listens well when asked to sit ,lie down, wait ,stay, shakes a paw. Loves going for walks on leash. Always on guard, watching over the yard when outside. Will let you know if anyone one has arrived on property, when inside. Hard to think of anything bad about him.
Things to work on is when left alone, he will howl. I bought an sonic egg that has been working and his howling is very little now.

Zoe is the 4 year old female. Loves your attention always close by. Follows me everywhere, very loyal. Loves her belly rubbed, will do the Rotti rumble and talk loudly sometimes. Always keeping an eye on you, even follows me to bathroom. Haha
Listens well, great on leash and walks. Not a great swimmer, a lot of patience she may go in. She Loves to play catch, but will destroy toys left unattended. No stuffed animals recommend. When she asked to stay sit , wait, or lie down, very good listener. Loves treats!

Things she needs to be worked on would be taking treats gentle, snatches roughly. Releasing her toys when asked. She will steal food left out on counter or table when not watching her. Or get into garbage. This was a problem from previous owners, I have worked on this since I’ve had her, she is getting better. Previous owner would abuse Zoe when he was drinking so no rough playing with alcohol on your breath. She doesn’t forget the smell I think. Zoe’s surgery for her ACL was 2 years ago, $5000 bill. She no longer has pain. Only problem for her is when having to jump up really high or having to jump down from really high up. It’s not recommended.
