Hey!

Welcome back for the 197th installment of the Fun Finder Blog! This week, we’ll take a closer look at paint drying, we’ll explore the mysteries of grass-growing, and after that, I have a special report I like to call “ICE- How Fast Does it Melt REALLY?”. You can watch the full series on my YouTube Channel, xXGovernmentMindControlConspiraciesXx. My sweaty rambling has gotten a lot more coherent lately!

Just kidding of course- I had an amazing weekend, and the Fun Finder Blog is just as fresh as ever! (Although I probably wouldn’t go looking for that Youtube channel, just in case.) This weekend was a little less busy than usual but never fear! The event quality more than made up for the event quantity.

The big draw this weekend was the Vancouver Island Dream Wedding Show, and what a dream wedding show it was! There were a ton of excellent exhibitors and delightful displays, door prizes, window prizes, and an extremely impressive runway show that captured the crowd’s imagination. Great fun! I also stopped by GNC in the Westshore Town Centre to ballot for invitations to the SUPER AWESOME FUN-FINDER PARTY WHERE WE GIVE AWAY THE 2018 FUN FINDER-MOBILE!! I haven’t been invited, so you know it’s gonna be a high-class event! I also had fantastically fishy time at the Maritime Museum of BC’s “Museum Tots” program on Saturday. Every Saturday at 11, actually! It’s an awesome educational program with crafts and fun and games, and it’s aimed at Children ages 2-5, and Fun Finders in their late 20’s. It’s free with admission, and kids get in free! Very Cool. Speaking of artifacts, Stan and Ollie, the new Laurel and Hardy biopic, had an advanced screening last week, and it was intro’d by yours truly! Excellent flick, heart-warming, charming, and very well-acted. Catch it in theaters on January 25th.

Finally, I stopped by my favourite building in Victoria; the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria had another Family Sunday and I came armed with 4 dozen mini-cupcakes from Cupcakes at Uptown. It was interesting, I was simultaneously the most popular person there AND the most despised. The kids were incredibly grateful for hooking them up with the sugar fix, and the parents were absolutely furious for the same reason! Go figure!

You can check out the photos of all this craziness after the jump below!

Thanks for reading, and, as always, an enormous #OceanFamily thanks to Cupcakes at UptownMoxie’s Grill and Bar, Monk OfficeWestshore Town Centre and Campus Nissan!
