Making your own fettucine alfredo sauce isn’t as hard as you might think!  This creamy and oh so yummy sauce can made in minutes with just a few ingredients!

Directions:

Start with a large (and deep) fry pan.   Add butter and melt over low heat, slowly whisk in cream.  Simmer for a few minutes and then add in minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.   Allow all of the ingredients to simmer for a few minutes, allowing the garlic to soften.  Final step, whisk in parmesan cheese until melted.

*you can add fresh mushrooms or protein of your choice to the sauce as well.   (cook protein accordingly before adding to the sauce)

Ingredients:

½ cup of butter (non-salted)

1 ½ cups of heavy whipping cream

2 teaspoons of minced garlic (for all the garlic lovers you can add in more!)

½ teaspoon of Italian Seasoning

Salt & Pepper (to taste)

2 cups of freshly grated parmesan cheese (for this recipe freshly grated works best)

Serve immediately over cooked fettucine pasta, top with fresh ground pepper, fresh parmesan cheese and or parsley.
