Snowball

Some people just take a snow day when it strikes and head home for some fun in the snow.

It’s very rare for UVic to call a snow day, so naturally when the campus closed on Wednesday during a particularly treacherous snow storm in Victoria, some students had to celebrate on campus.

What better way to celebrate a snow day than to make massive snowballs?

These snowy engineering marvels were left blocking the McPherson Library and had to be removed with some heavy duty help.

This video from 2012 hints that there’s a legend in the making here..

Where there are snowballs, there must be snowball fights…

Well, I’m impressed — just don’t park in front of the library next time.
