Wow. Did you know we have a Mealshare program right here in Victoria? It’s a ingenious but simple way to help people in need in our community (and beyond)  — and it involves you going for lunch….

It’s heartbreaking to think of anyone being hungry… so how awesome is this idea!? It’s so simple but ingenious initiative right in our community — Click here to see how it works.

The Mealshare program began in 2013 and quickly spread across Canada. Currently, Mealshare is partnered with more than 200 restaurants across 7 cities and 43 smaller communities. They have been able to provided over 450,000 meals to people in need. Funding goes to local organizations and Save the Children, a Canadian non-profit that provides Canadian and international aid.
