Rob's shomi Pick of the Weekend - Vikings

Such an easy pick this week. It HAS to be Vikings. This is a show I watched a few episodes of last year and I liked it, but never got too into it. Well, I saw it on shomi and I gave it another shot. I  haven’t watched anything since. Here’s why.

Vikings is inspired by the sagas of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, one of the best-known legendary Norse heroes and notorious as the scourge of England and France. The show portrays Ragnar as a former farmer who rises to fame by successful raids into England, and eventually becomes king of Denmark, with the support of his family and fellow warriors: his brother Rollo, his son Bjorn Ironside, and his wives—the shieldmaiden Lagertha and the princess Aslaug.

Not only have I caught up on all the episodes on shomi, but now I’m really into norse history and can’t stop watching viking documentaries on YouTube. Give it a shot this weekend on shomi
