Mom, Can You Braid My Hair!?

We had a braiding party in the Ocean 98.5 studio yesterday!

The party included Joanna from Braiders, her daughter Evie, Marissa the Braider, along with myself and my daughter Jade for some fun in the studio with the girls…and Curt Colin. Someone had to be on the radio.

Joanna has this great new business in Victoria called Braiders where they specialize in braiding hair — pick a style from their “menu” and in 10-15 min you’ll have a gorgeous new hairstyle for $15-25.

So when you hear, Mom — Can you braid my hair?…The answer is absolutely.

Jade is a big fan of Katniss and loved Jennifer Lawrence’s hair in the Hunger Games, so Marissa got to work…

And it came out beautifully…

As did 5-year old Evie’s curly curly hair with her “milk braids”

Next time, I’m getting my hair done.
