Life’s little moments are sometimes the shiniest. Like this one — in a Nova Scotia gas station, where a security camera catches a moment where a senior citizen asks an employee if he’ll dance with her — and he says yes — of course.

Gas Station Employee Agrees To Dance with Senior Citizen.

The Facebook post from Milne Court Petro-Canada, New Minas in Nova Scotia details the dance:

“Take a minute out of your day to read and watch this*

The Dance

I am blessed with a Team that “Saves the World from Ordinary”; everyday.
They love the customers that come in and the customers love them.
How do I know? I hear the stories; everyday, there are really great stories.
Ken will say “I just saved another motor” or he will have found another Senior with a Safety Inspection expired or about to expire. “They cannot afford to lose those points” he’ll say, “it’s hard to get them back at their age”.
“I was approached by another customer today who cannot believe our service” Peter will say, “that Free Air is the best”.
“It’s another amazing day out there” Zach will say, “people are just blown away everytime I approach them”.
The customers share a common theme. “Where do you find all of these wonderful people” they’ll ask, “I am always impressed with everyone here”.
“So am I” is my response…….. “So am I”.
The Team shares a common theme [as well]; genuine caring and concern which creates the “extra-ordinary”
And then, ..every.. once.. in a while, there is something that stands out, even from the “extraordinary”:
On Sunday evening an elderly lady came in and approached Debbie on the cash where she promptly looked after her. I am not sure exactly how the subject was broached but Debbie’s co-worker, Sean, was asked if he would mind dancing with the Petite Belle from Britain. He promptly agreed. He also explained that the customers in line were his priority however if she did not mind waiting he would love to dance with her.
She waited.
He served.
And then they danced.
She danced, twirled and even broke into song.
From beginning to end, Sean was a gentleman. Allowing the “Petite Belle” to enjoy herself, while never breaking eye contact nor his engaging smile.
I love that he took the time to dance with her.
I love that the customers who were initially in line said “You dance with her, we’ll wait”.
Dr. Seuss once said “Why fit in when you were born to stand out”.
And stand out he did.
Bravo Sean.”

So sweet!
