Pet Finder Friday With Dez

Every Friday, I partner up with a different local rescue group to help adopt out their animals and find them their fur-ever homes! 

This week we’re partnering up with Dog Bless Rescue Partners to help find a home for “Darby!”

LOOK HOW CUTE!!! Meet adoptable Darby, a 2 year old, 60lb, male Shiba Inu/Cattle cross. He’s the sweetest & most loving dog with humans. Here’s what his foster Mom has to say about him:

“Had a wonderful walk with Mr Darby this evening. He’s a lovely dog and is super loving and sweet. At 2 years and 60 lbs this guy needs a fair bit of exercise. Darby is not a dog for a first time owner – he can jump a 4ft fence with ease and he is quite prey driven. He’s most likely a shiba inu/cattle dog mix. Anyone who has experience with spitz breeds knows they can be challenging. Darby truly is a gem of a dog and even though he currently lives with other dogs he’s really more interested in people than playing with other dogs. He can be a tad rude when greeting dogs and is easily excited in a daycare setting. He would be a stellar hiking or running companion. I can’t say enough great things about this dog. His good points far outweigh his challenges.”
