Pet Finder Friday With Dez

Every Friday, I partner up with a different local rescue group to help adopt out their animals and find them their fur-ever homes! 

This week we’re partnering up with RainCoast Dog Rescue Society to help find a home for adoptable Klutz!

Klutz is a 5 year old, male, 50lb, rescue Golden Retriever that was brought back by RainCoast’s Jesse from Lebanon. Klutz is one of the sweetest souls there is. He does really well with other nice dogs of all sizes and people of all kinds. He loves to give kisses, walks pretty good on leash and likes to go for adventures and walks. Our type of surroundings are so new to him still, so he is soaking it all in and is very intrigued by it all. He absolutely loves grass and rolling around in it. It’s something he’s never felt in his life, until now. Klutz is for the most part potty trained, but has the rare accident still as he adjusts to a western household lifestyle. So far he has done very well in a house environment when being left alone, not being destructive, and and is slowly learning how to play with other dogs, something he didn’t really do before even know he was around by so many. Klutz comes from a pretty tough life in Lebanon before being rescued by BETA, then coming here to Canada with us. He spent years in a loving outdoor/indoor shelter with over 600 other dogs of all sorts after being rescued. He was sometimes picked on by some other shelter dogs for being so submissive. None the less, he has held a great temperament and composure. We’re not sure how he is with cats or kids yet, but do believe he would be good with them as long as they are respectful to him. This amazing doggo is now patiently awaiting his forever home!
