Go Green With "My Open Road" App

I love to track and log and collect data. Step counting, sleep tracking, food diaries — love them. I am totally on-board with using tech to get motivated.

Even better, let’s make it a game like Pokemon Go. I call it Pokemon Go Outside.

If you like this concept, you have to check this out…It’s an exciting new app that will result in getting you more active, saving all kinds of gas and contribute toward a cleaner, greener community — and ultimately the earth. As a reward for all your hard work, cutting emissions and getting more active, the app also rewards you with deals at local businesses as a payoff.

It’s called My Open Road.

The app recently debuted in Canada, and they have a head office right here in Techtoria…Victoria. Naturally, Victoria would be a perfect place to play this “green game”.

If you walk, bike, ride the bus — even skateboard, you an earn a “social responsibility score”. It’s like a game where everyone wins!
