Start the new year by making a difference! The 35th Annual Chip-In for the Kids Christmas Tree Recycle is back, offering Greater Victoria residents an environmentally friendly way to dispose of their Christmas trees while supporting an incredible cause.

Date: January 4 & 5, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily

Drop-Off Locations:

• Victoria:
  • Tillicum Shopping Centre
  • Save-On-Foods – Fort & Foul Bay
  • Westshore Town Centre
  • Broadmead Village Shopping Centre
• Shawnigan Lake: Mason’s Store & Patio Ltd. (January 6th only)
• Mill Bay: Thrifty Foods
• Duncan: BC Forest Discovery Centre

Note: Due to rising costs, pick-up service will not be available this year.

This cherished community tradition has raised over $460,000 since its inception, with all proceeds supporting Easter Seals BC/Yukon. Funds go toward specialized programs and services for individuals with disabilities on Vancouver Island.

How You Can Help:

• Drop off your Christmas tree at one of the designated locations.
• Donate to support Easter Seals and make a lasting impact on local families.
